December 3, 2005 - Center Fuse

A shot looking aft of the center fuse assembly.
Looking forward.
Now, with the seat and baggage rib covers clecoed on.  The pre-drilled holes matched perfectly.  I did have to enlarge a couple of the rectangular openings slightly where the seatbelt brackets poke through.

For me, this is the fun time of the building process -- clecoing something together for the first time.  You get to see what it looks like for the first time, and feel the solidity and strength of the structure.  The euphoric feeling is gone all too soon, as you have to take it apart and get into the time-consuming, unglamourous prep work and riveting.

Drilling all the holes to final size.
Match-drilling the top of the end seat ribs.
